I recently stayed at Hi Geres - Pousada De Juventude Do and had a fantastic experience. I was visiting the Penedas-Gerês National Park and stayed for 2 nights. The hostel was modern, clean, and located in a beautiful setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I lost my phone and they let me borrow one to find it. The breakfast included was delicious and there was a great selection. The rooms were comfortable and I appreciated the option of having a bunk bed or single beds. a wonderful stay!

I would highly recommend this hostel.

The double room at HI Geres - Pousada de Juventude was cozy and comfortable, with a wardrobe and heating. The private bathroom with a walk-in shower was a nice touch. As a backpacker, I loved having my own space to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I found the shared bathroom in the quadruple room to be a slight inconvenience. However, I understand that some guests may not mind this and still find it enjoyable.

We loved staying in this hostel which is located in a peaceful and green area close to hiking trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even offering to give us a ride when we got lost. The cleanliness was impressive, and the facilities were well-maintained. Additionally, the location was very convenient as it was in walking distance from the tourist office and the bus station.

Friendly staff, Beautiful surroundings, Nightlife During my business trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff who always greeted me with a warm smile. the hostel's beautiful surroundings made for a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of work. the nearby bars and clubs provided a lively nightlife experience.

Uncomfortable rooms, Poor hygiene Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the dormitory rooms. the mattresses were old and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Upon arriving at this hotel, we were impressed with the luxurious amenities and excellent service provided by the staff. the private facilities were exclusive, and the sun terrace was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding nature. the Jacuzzi was a great way to wind down after a long day of hiking.

The only minor issue we experienced at this hotel was with the TV in the leisure room. the sound quality was not up to par, making it difficult to fully enjoy the movies provided.

We had a blast hiking and cycling through the breathtaking natural paths of Peneda-Gerês National Park. The hostel's location was perfect for exploring the park and the views were Instagram-worthy. We also took advantage of the tennis court and played some competitive matches. The accommodation options at the hostel were great, giving us plenty of choices for our group. The staff were super cool and made sure we had an amazing time.

One thing we would have loved is if the hostel had organized some fun events or parties for us young party-goers. It would have been awesome to meet other travelers and have a great time together.
